  • Name
  • Contact details (email, address, phone numbers)
  • Date of Birth
  • Health Details

Your contact details will be used to process your booking, and to communicate with you regarding current and future bookings. From time to time we also provide a courtesy contact, to ensure you are making the most of the services we provide. We may contact you with the details of a workshop or class we feel may be of interest to you.

If you do not book your class via our online booking system, then we will manually add your name, email and phone number to this system that we use for all our class bookings.

We ask for your date of birth for identification purposes.

Our lawful basis for collecting Health Details is ‘contract’. Our obligation is to provide you with safe, appropriate exercises, in a class suitable for you, and we are only able to do this when we have up to date information regarding your health and well being, enabling us to manage risk and safety issues inherent in all exercise systems.  This health information is shared within the contracted teaching team at Move. Studio.  If your health changes in any way you will need to let us know, so we can continue to teach you safely. To preserve your privacy, please either email or telephone your teacher outside of the class situation, or arrive at class early so you can discuss the matter in confidence with your class teacher before the scheduled class start time, outside of the class room if appropriate.

We are lawfully required to keep your health data for at least 7 years after you finish taking class with us. Following this, paper work is shredded and electronic data is disposed of securely.

How we collect data

The data is collected via telephone, email and text enquiries, online booking forms, through the completion of health forms and occasionally verbally in class. (Please ensure you arrive early to class if you need to discuss confidential health issues with your teacher so we can give you the time and privacy to do this.)
