Sarah Miller

Mat Pilates and Apparatus Instructor
Sarah has 14 years’ experience in soft tissue therapy and remedial massage. Alongside this, she has an 18-year nursing career which saw her specialise in intensive care, cardiac care and general practice. She considers herself to be somewhat of a detective when it comes to bodywork, drawing from experiences past and present to assist her in the treatment of client’s aches and pains.

‘To me, it felt like a natural progression to train to become a Pilates teacher. I firmly believe that “motion is lotion”, and it is an essential component to maintain the overall health of our muscular skeletal system.’

She is a qualified instructor on the reformer, Cadillac and tower apparatus.

‘Whether you are a proficient mover and have done sport to a high level, or you are complete beginner and have existing injuries I am always delighted and enthusiastic to be able to facilitate you in your Pilates practice, and hopefully you will feel empowered and have some fun whilst embarking on that journey with me.’

Sarah loves walking the beautiful coastline, gardening, bodyboarding and generally anything that gets her outside in nature with friends, family and her beloved dog Nell.

‘Within my classes I guide clients in learning how to move their body with confidence, control and without fear. I focus on strengthening, posture and alignment to increase body awareness and deepen the mind body connection. Developing positive movement patterns on the mat can lead to improvements in how you move throughout your day – at home, work or doing what you love. We all move differently – I want to empower you to embrace your body to prevent or manage injury and move more effectively through your life.’
